In 2023 Kaiela Arts and Spacecraft were commissioned by Munarra Ltd to develop new artworks for the Munarra Centre for Regional Excellence building and landscape. Munarra Gunyah Gathering was the second phase of artwork development. Local Elders and young people gathered with the project team at Rumbalara Football and Netball Club over 2 days on August 28th and 29th to explore the vision of Munarra and create designs using natural materials and printing techniques.
